Osprey put her weather forecast up on her blog saying "0 to 90 in 10 seconds" (or something close to that). I thought she might enjoy seeing our current weather and the forecast for the week ahead. the forecast does not include the humidity, which (mwahahaha) makes a big
difference ... 92% today!! This is the usual weather for this time of year.





The forecast says we will have a spell of cool weather ... 89 degrees, yippee!.

Granny Gator

At the hospital we were in the Cardiovascular waiting room while my son had open heart surgery yesterday. His 12-year-old daughter was sitting next to me and said that my daughter looked like a penguin. I responded to this non-sequitur with a question about what animal I resembled. She said promptly, "an alligator".

The Great Cleansing Has Begun

It was with trembling hands that I consigned this squeeze bottle of chocolate syrup to the sewer.

It was gently aged, as I had kept it on hand for medicinal purposes only ... in case of emergency. Now I am on my own, with only my bitter chocolate and the bars sweetened with oligofructose ... this is one of the terrible choices one must make in life.
